Florida is one of the most beautiful states and scenic places in the US, not to mention its amazing historical significance. For instance, take St. Augustine nestled in the northeastern coastal area. It is known to be the oldest established city in the US. The Fort is preserved as it originally existed during the conflict between the Spaniards, who were there first, and the English, Pirates, and whoever else was interested in invading for trading and territorial expansion. Fort Augustine still has the original cannons and many of the original structures, including their makeshift jail. St. Augustine is a must-see area because it offers much more than just the featured Fort.

Traveling South on the eastern coastline offers beauty and is worth exploring all the historical events that have taken place throughout the ages. The scenery is splendid, the beaches inviting and the architecture tells its own story. Words alone cannot do justice to the beauty of the region.
